The UK Public Sector unions, which include UK Border Agency staff employed at Heathrow and Gatwick, are planning a day of industrial action for this Thursday, May 10, 2012.
Currently, British Airways is planning to operate a normal schedule and will continue to speak with the UK Border Agency in order to minimize any potential inconvenience to their customers. As such, no specific customer handling guidelines have been published. Standard customer handling guidelines would apply.
Please note that the UK Border Agency handles incoming immigration checks at the airports. Departing and international transfer customers are not affected.
