Major Earthquake Hits Southern Mexico

A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck southern Mexico early this morning, shaking buildings in Mexico City 220 miles away. The epicenter of the quake was 75 miles west-southwest of Oaxaca City, Mexico.

No official reports of injuries have been reported.
