Fox Continues Educational Program to Assist Travel Managers in Building Successful Programs

2019 Dates & Locations Set for Travel Manager Institute

Fox World Travel will continue its focus on providing travel managers the skills and insights needed to succeed through its industry-leading Travel Manager Institute. The program is designed to help travel professionals from various backgrounds and experience levels keep pace with an ever-changing and sometimes complicated industry.

Fox Travel Manager Institute launched in mid-2017 and offers a foundational Best Practices course, along with advanced sessions covering Travel Policy Deployment, Understanding of Preferred Airline Agreements, Communicating Travel, Vendor Negotiations and Duty of Care.

The groundbreaking program is led by Fox’s Emily Wright, Client Solutions Manager, with more than 20 years in corporate travel; as a travel manager and supporting travel managers in building successful corporate travel programs. Travel Management Best Practices will be offered in four cities throughout the United States:

  • Milwaukee, WI | April 2019
  • Oshkosh, WI at Fox World Travel headquarters | May 2019
  • Detroit, MI | September 2019
  • Chicago, IL | October 2019

The two-day foundational course provides a comprehensive view of how to build a successful travel program, as well as an overview of the future of the travel industry.

“I am thrilled that our Travel Manager Institute (TMI) courses have been so helpful for travel managers,” says Wright. “The Travel Management Best Practices course is the foundation of TMI, and I am excited to offer more opportunities in 2019.  Education and creating an engaging atmosphere to learn, share and expand are a few of my passions.”

Fox created the Travel Manager Institute based on client feedback and a demand for travel industry education. The classes allow attendees to collaborate and benchmark in an engaging way. Those interested in the courses, can register here or request more information.

“100% of the attendees from previous sessions said they would recommend it to another travel manager,” said Wright. “2019 is going to be even better with new markets, more opportunities, webinars, and interactive topic-specific workshops.”
