Attend Educational Sessions

One of the best parts of the annual GBTA convention is the opportunity to learn from experts of all different walks in the travel industry. With 190 sessions to choose from, it’s possible to feel overwhelmed. But, don’t overload yourself with sessions. Instead, pick a few that really interest you as well as a couple you may know nothing about. By listing required levels of experience on their website, GBTA makes it easy for you to identify topics you may not be as familiar with. All sessions are 30 minutes, making it easy to stay engaged. Participate in Conference Events

Outside of educational sessions, you will find an abundance of exciting conference events. From August 3-4, you can attend one of many courses dedicated to your professional development, making you an expert heading into GBTA. Want something with a bit more activity? Join GBTA and American Airlines for the second annual Awareness 5k Run/Walk, along with two of our very own runners, to help raise funds to stop human trafficking with ECPAT. We also encourage you to attend the WINiT Summit 2019 with us, a one-day event that brings together professionals with the sole purpose of positively changing the careers and lives of women in travel-related industries.
