Jennifer’s first major travel experience came at the age of 16 when she traveled with a high school group of 25 on a European rail tour. On that tour, she traveled to Spain, France, Holland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. This was the experience that ignited her passion for travel. From there, Jennifer studied in France on her Junior Year Abroad program in Aix-en-Provence while later traveling to Germany to improve her German. Her first job after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison was with at a multi-lingual reservation agency. There she accommodated foreigners arriving in the U.S. with hotels, cars, campers and itinerary suggestions when touring the U.S.
That was just the start for Jennifer as she has been a part of the travel industry ever since, working for hotels, tour operators, travel agencies and an airline for ten years. Her career in travel has also taken her to Israel, Egypt, Istanbul, India, Kenya and New Zealand. As a tour manager, she’s escorted groups to Ireland, Germany, Italy, China, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam and visited Croatia and Slovenia, France, Switzerland and Austria. On her personal travels, Jennifer has been to Canada, Mexico, Jamaica and experienced a fabulous trip to Machu Picchu.
