Senior IT Support Specialist
Fox is currently looking for an accessible and responsive leader to serve as a senior resource for IT support staff.
This individual will serve as a senior resource for the IT Help Desk, manage Help Desk requests, provide work direction and train IT support team members, while providing high quality front-line computer technical support to internal users—on premises and remote.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
A day in the life of the Senior IT Support Specialist at Fox may include:
Engaging in the deployment—imaging, staging and installation—monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals and other equipment.
Recommending solutions or escalating service issues when identified in a timely manner for support.
Identifying, troubleshooting, resolving and documenting user and system issues via help desk system.
Participating in team on-call, after-hours support rotation.
Have strong knowledge of current applications/trends, personal computers and a demonstrated proficiency in basic Microsoft Office programs—Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Have experience with Basic Active Directory and Exchange Administration: user and mailbox creation; creation and administration of Distribution and Security Groups.
Have excellent working knowledge of all components of IT infrastructure, including desktops, servers, routers, and wireless devices.
Have familiarity with Service Desk Ticketing software.

Knowledge of Linux administration and SharePoint
Experience with Powershell and scripting language
Communication proficiency – verbal and written; appropriate use of grammar
Organizational and planning skills
Problem analysis and problems solving skills
Sound judgment and decision-making ability
Attention to detail and accuracy
Flexibility; ability to work efficiently and effectively with frequent interruptions
