Private companies play a critical role in Wisconsin’s economy.
Deloitte’s Wisconsin 75 recognizes the state’s 75 largest privately held companies and includes many of the state’s most recognizable companies. Fox World Travel is proud to be on this year’s—15th annual—list.
“We are honored and humbled to be included on the list for the first time, especially alongside such esteemed companies,” said Chip Juedes, Fox World Travel CEO.
Fox World Travel participated in the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) 2017 Convention and we absolutely stole the show. Standing out from the crowd of more than 7,000 attendees and 400 exhibiting suppliers from the corporate travel industry, our Fox Stars were the highlight of the week in Boston, Massachusetts.
It was wonderful connecting with old friends and meeting new ones. We could have you read all about our experience at GBTA, but we thought it would be more fun to share the experience with you. Check out our FoxStars at GBTA 2017:

“On behalf of our entire Fox Family, we are honored and humbled to have earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 for the fifth time, placing Fox in an elite group of only seven percent of companies that have applied over the years,” said Chip Juedes, CEO, Fox World Travel. “Our fifth recognition is a testament of our dedicated associates who live out our mission of service, passion, partnerships and family every day while innovating, inspiring and never accepting the status quo.”
The 2017 Inc. 5000, unveiled online at Inc.com and with the top 500 companies featured in the September issue of Inc. is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. The average company on the list achieved a mind-boggling three-year average growth of 481%. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $206 billion and the companies on the list collectively generated 619,500 jobs over the past three years. “The founders and CEOs of the Inc. 5000 tell us they think determination, risk taking, and vision were the keys to their success, and I believe them.”

Concur Fusion 2017 kicked off Tuesday in Chicago with Travel Management Company (TMC) Day and a new award highlighting an innovative TMC with a focus on enhancing the customer experience.
Mike Koetting, Executive Vice President TMC Solutions, Concur, presented Fox World Travel with the first-ever Customer Experience Excellence Award. The award recognizes Fox’s dedication to maximizing Concur tools and the Traveler Experience on behalf of shared customers.
After a rigorous evaluation process, Concur named Fox World Travel a Concur Certified Travel Management Company. Concur, the world’s leading provider of integrated travel and expense management services and solutions, awarded 11 of approximately 300 US agencies with this new distinction.
The program recognizes expertise in Concur support, administration and implementation. The evaluation process included an audit of specific Concur processes and procedures at Fox.
According to Julie Deppe, Director of Travel Technology, the evaluation measured on-time implementations, efficient case management and training attendance. “We are thrilled to be one of just 11 US TMC’s to achieve this distinction with Concur,” she said. “The designation represents the confidence our customers already have in us as we implement and support Concur Travel.”
In addition to being a Concur Travel Certified TMC, Fox World Travel is also a preferred partner of Concur, offering business travelers reliable online booking solutions.

As the country, and the world, was a bit more attached to their televisions the last two weeks to see what was happening in the Olympics, I often find myself reflecting on the athlete’s journey and the years of hard work they’ve put in to earn themselves a spot at the Olympics. There are numerous stories of “small town” kids who dedicated their lives to their sport, who made many sacrifices along the way, and who consistently won at each level earning the right to be on the world stage.
While I certainly recognize the magnitude of difference between the Olympics and the GBTA (Global Business Travel Association) Annual Convention, I’d like to use three aspects in the Olympic analogy in this blog post to talk about Fox World Travel’s inaugural participation at the GBTA Convention in Denver a few weeks back. The three components I will borrow from the analogy are: journey, hard work and world stage.
Over 55 years ago Fox World Travel set out on a journey to be a prominent Business and Vacation travel provider in their small town of Oshkosh, WI. Our journey has been defined by three generations of the Juedes family who have very successfully coached and led the organization to where it is today. The team put in long hours and our dedication to the industry and our clients were the springboard for growth, resulting in Fox being recognized as one of the top agencies in the country.
As our team walked onto the “big stage” as exhibitors at the 2016 GBTA Convention in July, competing against and participating with the top names in the industry, not only did we walk in with assurance knowing we earned the right to be there, but we participated with pride remembering all the years of hard work that went into getting us to this spot. Fox World Travel isn’t (yet) a name as recognizable as Michael Phelps or American Express, but we’re swimming in the same race with them now and are on our way to claiming the gold.
See our team in action at GBTA 2016!

Combined into one image, the logo is a reflection of the organization’s rich past and exciting future.
