Salt Island
Salt Island is a small island located within the British Virgin Islands. The island attracts a lot of tourist who enjoy snorkeling and diving destinations. It is well known for the wreck of the iron RMS Rhone. The Rhone sank in a hurricane in October 1867 after crashing in Salt Island and attempting to head to sea. During their visit, tourist also enjoy spending time checking out the salt ponds, hiking around the small island, as well as paying a visit to the cemetery which holds the bodies of some of those who lost their lives while traveling on The Rhone.
