Fox Provides Aid for Essential Business During Texas State of Emergency
As record-low temperatures are causing mass resource shortages throughout Texas and prompted a federal emergency declaration, Fox World Travel has jumped into action to help one of our clients navigate the crisis. The client, an essential grocery chain with a large presence in the affected areas, reached out to Fox to execute the custom disaster recovery plan we initially developed to aid during a hurricane response.
Fox’s meetings & incentives team is working around the clock to assist with safe accommodations for essential store employees, including those who may have been displaced from their homes and as well as the chain’s recovery team members who ensure that stores have important resources in place.
This has allowed employees to stay close to their stores and continue serving the desperately impacted communities of Texas.
“Because of the processes and procedures we created for our client, we were able to activate our teams immediately,” said Crystal Zawilinski, Fox sales director of meeting & incentives programs. “The client knew that as part of an essential industry, they needed to be prepared for any disruption to business. So it was a huge priority for them to work with a TMC that was able to meet this need and help them create the protocol around maintaining not only business continuity, but providing safety for their employees.”
Hundreds of the client’s employees have been affected, and Fox is prepared to support increases as the number of impacted stores and rolling outages across the state continue.
“This is a great example of what Fox can do for our clients,” said Stacy Button, Fox operations manager for meeting & incentives. “Being able to assist our client in a traumatic time and, in turn, helping to support Texas during a state of emergency really speaks to the bigger picture of what our teams can do, and what we want to do for our clients.”
Fox’s thoughts are with Texas at this time and we are here to support in anyway we can. Please contact Fox if you need assistance finding accommodations.
