Fox World Travel Joins Fight Against Human Trafficking for ECPAT END IT Day

On Thursday, February 25, Fox World Travel participated in the END IT Movement, sponsored by ECPAT, a global organization committed to advocacy and action to end the commercial sexual exploitation of children.

The International Labour Organization reports that there are over 40 million people living in slavery worldwide. As part of the travel industry, our associates at Fox are in a unique position to help raise awareness and educate travelers on how to recognize potential trafficking victims.

“The last year has been rough for the travel industry, but ECPAT is an organization that reminds us what is important,” said Ben Claxton, online technology manager at Fox. “ECPAT is an organization that allows us to come together for a common goal of ending human trafficking.  It helps shine a light on the travel industry’s previously unknown involvement and ways that we can be a part of the solution. I’m proud to work for a company wants to help make the world a better place.”

In the past year, all Fox associates completed mandatory EPCAT training to in, turn, arm our travelers with the support, resources and knowledge to help identify and end human trafficking.  All of us at Fox stand together, while apart, in supporting ECPAT on February 25 to END IT.

“Born out of the belief that even one person exploited is too many, #ENDITMOVEMENT is a coalition of the leading organizations in the world in the fight for freedom,” says ECPAT. “Each of our amazing coalition partners are doing the work, on the ground, every day, to bring awareness prevention, rescue, and restoration. Joined by students and senators, nonprofits and Fortune 500s, END IT is each of us standing for what’s right until the number of men, women, and children suffering in silence moves from 40 million to zero.”

Take action with us! Here’s how:

END IT is a social media awareness campaign that shines a light on millions of people who are currently trapped, trafficked, exploited, and enslaved.
