Pinnacle achievement recognizes travel professionals at the highest level

While we know much has changed in the travel industry over the past 18 months, we continue to seek opportunity for growth as experts within the business travel industry. It was a refreshing change of pace for our business travel team to “return to travel” and connect in-person once again with our partners at the GBTA Convention last month in Orlando.

With global business travel spend expected to surge in 2022, our team has been diligent to anticipate the global travel trends and maintain the ‘pulse’ of the industry, ensuring we are prepared for our clients and fellow partners travel needs as we approach 2022.

George Kalka, vice president of business travel, is one of our shining Fox Stars. We are so pleased to share that he has been recognized by the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) as a Global Leadership Professional® (GLP) at the GBTA Conference.

The GLP Designation is the pinnacle of achievement for business travel professionals. This program is the only course aimed at travel professionals focused on business and leadership skills. The curriculum integrates meaningful structured learning, combined with an experiential, knowledge-exchange model using real-life challenges and opportunities in the business travel industry. 

Through his completion of the GLP program, Kalka has:

• Engaged with peers who put a value on professional development
• Utilized advanced business principles and best practices
• Worked with academic professionals and industry experts
• Developed team-driven approaches for problem solving

Those who have earned the GLP Certificate and Designation have gone on to earn recognition as leaders and innovators for both themselves and their organizations in the business travel industry.  Obtaining the GLP distinguishes employees in the travel industry while advancing their skill set and impacting their ability to drive corporate strategy and achieve corporate objectives.
