Continue to explore this 700-year-old city on a canal cruise along the elegant grachten lined with homes dating back to the city’s “Golden Age.” Visit Cologne, Germany, a 2,000 year-old city known for its Gothic-style architecture.
Pass through the dramatic Rhine Gorge with a spectacular view of ancient castles standing on cliffs 400 feet above the water. Cruise to the charming wine town of Rüdesheim and visit the unique Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. Continue to Mainz for a guided walk and visit to the captivating Gutenberg Museum or take an excursion to Heidelberg to visit the ruins of its red-walled castle. In Strasbourg, France, marvel at the red sandstone Gothic-style cathedral with ancient murals and fascinating astronomical clock. Your journey begins in Chicago O’Hare, where you will board your overnight flight to Amsterdam.
Welcome to Amsterdam! You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the afternoon on your own.

This morning enjoy breakfast and then an “Off the Beaten Path” walking tour of Amsterdam with a local guide. Later today you’ll be transferred to the beautiful Avalon Expression for embarkation.

Pricing includes current air taxes of $399.75 per person and a Fox World Travel Professional Fee of $50 per reservation. Air package pricing is subject to change until contracted due to the volatility of airfare costs.
Single pricing available upon request. Single Supplement Waiver may be available. Early Booking Discounts do not apply when a Single Waiver is applied to the reservation.
Flights

Flight schedules are subject to change and FWT has no control over flight changes, seat assignments, delays or cancellations. Tickets will be non-refundable once issued. Changes will be subject to a fee plus any fare difference. Additional restrictions may apply. Checked baggage fees may apply.

Notes
Optional Motorcoach Transfer
Group motorcoach transfer to and from Chicago O’Hare from select pick-up points are $50 per person each direction is available to add to the tour package.
Optional Insurance
In these volatile times and for peace of mind, we recommend purchasing travel protection insurance. Your travel advisor can discuss options with you, including medical expense coverage, pre-existing medical condition exclusion waivers, trip cancellation, trip delay, lost, delayed or damaged baggage and more. To cover pre-existing conditions, most policies must be purchased within 14 days of making your initial deposit. Travel protection insurance prices are based on your age and the trip cost.
Cancellation Penalties
- From date of deposit to June 20, 2023: Initial deposit of $250.00 per person
- June 21, 2023 – August 8, 2023: 50% package price cancellation fee + applicable airline fees
- August 9, 2023 – September 7, 2023: 75% package price cancellation fee + applicable airline fees
- September 8, 2023 through day of travel: No refunds
Airline tickets are non-refundable once ticketed.
A valid passport is required with a validity of at least six months beyond the return date of the trip.
Note: Daily Itinerary is subject to change. Order of sightseeing may change throughout the itinerary. Substitute visits to other sites may occur during your trip due to water levels or other uncontrollable factors.

We work vigilantly with the Suppliers to maintain integrity of the price you were originally quoted and placed on deposit. There may be certain circumstances where your vacation may be subject to a price increase prior to full payment due to a supplier or government issued surcharge. Prices will not increase after you make full payment, except for charges resulting from increases in government-imposed taxes or fees, fuel surcharges, exchange fluctuations or any combinations of these. Fox World Travel will make a reasonable attempt to contact you prior to issuing charges.
