Follow the Mediterranean coastline south to Antibes, once the haunt of Pablo Picasso where you will experience a wine tasting in one of France’s most exclusive wineries, Château Cremat.

Your journey begins at Chicago O’Hare, where you will board your overnight flight to Italy.
Stretch your legs on sun-kissed Mediterranean shores, strolling in the footsteps of generations of English aristocrats who once chose Nice to be their holiday retreat. On arrival, you have one group transfer to your hotel. With the day at leisure, embark on your own exploration of Nice, before joining your Travel Director and fellow travelers for a Welcome Dinner.

Delve into the Italian heritage of Nice’s elegant Old Town when you join a Local Expert for a sightseeing tour that will take you to the heart of the city, Place Massena. You’ll see the Promenade des Anglais along which the who’s who of Europe once relished beautiful seaside views. See the Bay of Angels, apparently named for the mythical angels who are said to have shown Adam and Eve a new home as lush and beautiful as the Eden they could no longer enter. This afternoon, enjoy a picturesque drive to Provence to visit the medieval village of Saint-Paul de Vence, perched high above the Riviera beaches. A walk through its winding streets with your Local Expert will reveal elegant fountains, vine-covered stone walls, Chagall’s tomb, delightful boutiques, and heavenly views of the mountains and sea. Next, Provence wouldn’t be Provence without a game of pétanque, so try your hand with an aperitif. Afterwards, retire to a nearby restaurant for dinner, where seasonal Niçoise specialties including, colorful salads and meat dishes, parade from the kitchen.

Enter the region of Liguria in Italy and the hilltop village of Dolceacqua with its 12th-century castle. Tread in the footsteps of Claude Monet, walking across the picturesque bridge depicted in several of his paintings. Later, savor the flavors of local olive oil during a tasting of regional produce.

After a few days of sightseeing, you may be tempted to spend your full free day sprawled on a sun-lounger with a cocktail but, if you can pull yourself away from the beach, consider a full-day Optional Experience to St. Tropez and Cannes. You’ll embark on a drive along the scenic coast to Sainte-Maxime and board a boat to St. Tropez where you’ll have some free time for lunch and your own exploration. Returning to Nice, you’ll stop in Cannes, and view the Palais des Festivals, home of the annual film festival. Tonight, enjoy a free evening strolling through the elegant streets of Nice in search of a rich ratatouille, for which the town is justifiably famous.

Follow the scenic Moyenne Corniche, bound for the Principality of Monaco. Stop at Fragonard Parfumerie, which has been crafting delicate French scents since the 1920s. A stop in medieval Èze delivers panoramic views of the sparkling Côte d’Azur, before you continue to La Turbie for a remarkable photo opportunity of Monaco. See the remnants of Roman rule before following the winding road down to the coast and the glamor of Monaco. Here you’ll visit the Roman-Byzantine Monaco Cathedral, where Grace Kelly was married, and the Prince’s Palace, a 12th-century Genoese fortress and the official residence of the ruling Grimaldi Prince of Monaco. Experience lifestyles of the rich and famous at a dinner in Monte Carlo before we embark on a scenic drive to see the Grand Casino and parts of the Monaco Grand Prix racetrack.

Follow the Mediterranean coastline south to Antibes, once the haunt of Pablo Picasso. Join your Travel Director for an orientation tour before exploring the bustling market squares. Alternatively, head down to the harbor to admire the many private yachts moored there. Enjoy a hearty lunch before experiencing a wine tasting in one of France’s most exclusive wineries (subject to availability). Château Cremat produces the fabled Bellet wine, matured in cellars dating back 2,000 years, when the Romans first began making wine in this region. We’ll experience a tour of the château and its legendary cellars to understand the wine-making process for these select seven hectares of vines and enjoy a tasting on the terrace overlooking the Mediterranean, complimented by a selection of local cheeses and charcuterie.

Get your final fix of Nice on this full free day to explore the city on your own. Explore the legacy of great artists like Matisse and Chagall, spend the morning sunbathing or consider an Optional Experience to Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, an elegant seaside villa surrounded by beautiful gardens. Return to Nice in time for an afternoon at leisure. This evening, you’ll join your new friends for a rousing Celebration Dinner as you toast to good times, good friends and some French joie de vivre.

Flights are currently pending. The air-inclusive package includes air that has not yet been assigned, the identity of the carrier, which may include the carrier’s code-share partner, will be assigned and disclosed at a later date. A minimum of 10 passengers is needed for the group air. Checked baggage fees may apply. Pricing and flight options from other cities available upon request.
Single Supplement: $1,229.00 (limited single occupancies allowed)
Initial Deposit: $400.00 per person + Fox professional fee
Included: Above pricing is per person based on double occupancy and subject to availability. Pricing includes current air taxes and fees of $300.56 and a nonrefundable Fox World Travel Professional Fee of $50 per reservation. The Fox World Travel fee will be charged at the time of deposit and will show as an additional payment.
Not Included: Airline flights on land-only packages, air-imposed baggage fees, gratuities for airport porters, tour guides, motorcoach drivers, meals (other than those included in the package); optional excursions that may be offered, and any items of a personal nature. Travel insurance protection is not included but highly recommended. Ask your travel consultant about pricing and options.

Prices will not increase after you make full payment, except for charges resulting from increases in government-imposed taxes or fees, fuel surcharges, exchange fluctuations or any combinations of these.
