From exploring the sun-kissed temples and time-worn towns of its mainland, to the history of its romantic islands, no two tours to this holiday favorite are the same. While in Greece, take full advantage of the array of flavors on offer. Think crumbling feta, briny olives, moussaka and ouzo-steamed mussels.
In Athens, ascend the Acropolis with a Local Expert to admire the Parthenon, built in 5th century B.C See the Temple of Athena Nike, also known as the Temple of the Wingless Victory, and the six stone-carved caryatids that make up the Porch of the Maidens on the Erechtheion.
In Santorini, enjoy the food in clifftop restaurants, laze on the sun-soaked beaches or shop to your hearts content. Known for its exquisite whitewashed houses this island is unforgettable. Then, head to Mykonos the playground of the rich and famous. You’ll have the opportunity to take a kaiki, a traditional boat, and meet a Greek captain to cruise around the stunning, world-famous Little Venice of Mykonos. Sit back and relax as you enjoy views of the iconic windmills. You’ll return to Athens for one last night before returning home.

Depart from Chicago O’Hare, where you will board your overnight flight to Athens.
An Insight host will meet you at the airport and take your one group transfer to the hotel where there is time to settle in and relax. Private transfers for additional charge can also be arranged. At 7:00 pm, join your Travel Director for a Welcome Reception, and get to know your fellow travelers over a delightful evening of dinner and wine.

Your exploration reveals the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Arch of Hadrian. Next, your Local Expert takes you to the Parthenon, built atop the Acropolis. See the Temple of Athena Nike, also known as the Temple of the Wingless Victory, and the six stone-carved caryatids that make up the Porch of the Maidens on the Erechtheion. Continue to Thermopylae, famous as the mountain pass where King Leonidas led his Spartan army, along with fellow Greek soldiers, into battle against the Persians in 480 B.C. See the memorial dedicated to Leonidas and his courageous Spartans, then on to your hotel in Kalambaka for dinner.

An early departure takes you to the port of Piraeus where your high-speed ferry takes you to the beautiful island of Santorini. On arrival, you are transferred to your hotel.

With two more sun-drenched days on one of the most romantic islands on earth, you won’t ever want to leave. Relax in clifftop restaurants, laze on the sun-soaked beaches or observe history unearthed at the site of Akrotiri. In the evening, you’ll witness the first of the golden sunsets for which the island is famous.

Another day to relax and unwind on the black, red and white beaches, or why not take a kaiki (traditional Greek fishing boat) over to the volcanic islands for a swim in the hot springs? The island’s delicious cuisine, whitewashed houses that gleam in the bright Aegean sun, narrow cobblestone streets and world-renowned sunsets all combine to make Santorini a truly unique holiday experience.

Board the high-speed ferry bound for the island of Mykonos, playground of the rich and famous. You are met at the port and transferred to your hotel.

Weather permitting, board your kaiki, a traditional boat and meet a Greek captain to cruise around the stunning, world-famous Little Venice of Mykonos. Sit back and relax as you enjoy views of the iconic windmills.

This day is at leisure. Explore the town with its winding maze of walkways, white-washed houses, magnificent windmills and uninhibited nightlife. Perhaps watch the sunset at Shirley Valentine Beach or take a short boat ride to Delos? Later, join your fellow travelers for a Celebration Dinner at a local restaurant and enjoy a fine selection of local dishes and wine.

In the morning, grab your final glimpse over the lustrous Aegean. You are transferred to the port for your return ferry to Athens.

Today your journey draws to an end. After breakfast you’ll transfer from the hotel to the Athens Airport for your flight home.

Airfare Flights are currently pending. The air-inclusive package includes air that has not yet been assigned, the identity of the carrier, which may include the carrier’s code-share partner, will be assigned and disclosed at a later date. A minimum of 10 passengers is needed for the group air. Checked baggage fees may apply. Pricing and flight options from other cities available upon request.
Single Supplement: $2,275.00 (limited single occupancies allowed)
Initial Deposit: $400.00 per person at time of booking + Fox professional fee
Included: Above pricing is per person based on double occupancy and subject to availability. Pricing includes current air taxes and fees of $300.56 and a nonrefundable Fox World Travel Professional Fee of $50 per reservation. The Fox World Travel fee will be charged at the time of deposit and will show as an additional payment.
Not Included: Airline flights on land-only packages, air-imposed baggage fees, gratuities for airport porters, tour guides, motorcoach drivers, meals (other than those included in the package); optional excursions that may be offered, and any items of a personal nature. Travel insurance protection is not included but highly recommended. Ask your travel consultant about pricing and options.
Terms: Minimum of 20 travelers required for this tour to operate. Hotels and itinerary are subject to change.
Optional Insurance: In these volatile times and for peace of mind, we recommend purchasing travel protection insurance. Your travel advisor can discuss options with you, including medical expense coverage, pre-existing medical condition exclusion waivers, trip cancellation, trip delay, lost, delayed or damaged baggage and more. To cover pre-existing conditions, most policies must be purchased within 14 days of making your initial deposit. Travel protection insurance prices are based on your age and the trip cost.

From date of deposit to May 30, 2024: Initial deposit of $400.00 per person + Fox professional fee
May 31 – June 30, 2024: 50% package price cancellation fee + applicable airline fees
July 1 – July 28, 2024: 75% package price cancellation fee + applicable airline fees
July 29, 2024 to 0 days prior to travel: No refunds

You agree that the courts in Winnebago County, Wisconsin will be the exclusive jurisdiction for all claims brought by you or us, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We work vigilantly with the Suppliers to maintain integrity of the price you were originally quoted and placed on deposit. There may be certain circumstances where your vacation may be subject to a price increase prior to full payment due to a supplier or government issued surcharge. Prices will not increase after you make full payment, except for charges resulting from increases in government-imposed taxes or fees, fuel surcharges, exchange fluctuations or any combinations of these. Fox World Travel will make a reasonable attempt to contact you prior to issuing charges.
