Bright Orthodontics Relies on Fox World Travel for Hawaiian Retreat.

When Adam and Rachel Veit acquired a Wisconsin orthodontics practice, they knew their business would be centered around treating people with kindness and respect. And to create that atmosphere, it started with a deep appreciation for their team. This year, they went the extra mile (literally thousands of miles) to show their staff just how much they appreciate them. The Fox Meetings & Incentives team was with them through all the twists and turns of planning a corporate retreat amidst a global pandemic.

Since purchasing the practice (Bright Orthodontics), the Veits have offered their team a variety of educational conferences and smaller trips throughout the Midwest. But this time, they wanted to recognize all the team had endured through the Covid-19 pandemic and offer an opportunity to make memories together. “After all the unknowns and additional pressures from the pandemic, we really wanted to give them something to look forward to,” says Rachel. “The orthodontics conference in Hawaii seemed like the perfect fit.”

But to make this a reality, Rachel knew they’d need travel planning expertise. “We have worked with Fox in the past for our family trips to Disney, so there was no question where we would go for help,” Rachel remembers. “We needed someone we could trust.”

Where the Fox Meetings & Incentives Team really helped was in planning a memorable retreat, leveraging supplier relationships and navigating Covid-19 changes. Casey Neverman, Fox Meetings & Incentives Program Manager, partnered with Rachel to create the experience and handle details both big and small including a substantial pivot when the educational conference was cancelled. “With all the changes we encountered, Fox handled everything so flawlessly,” says Rachel. “I didn’t need to worry about any of the details and our employees felt so cared for.”

The detailed planning process that Casey and Fox brought to the table helped create a smooth experience for Rachel. The team met regularly to keep her in the loop and discuss any issues that would arise. “We would provide our recommendations for creating the best experience for their team and allow Rachel to provide feedback,” remembers Casey. “And with entry restrictions constantly changing, we kept them up to date with how policies would impact their team.”

The trip was a success. The group enjoyed a Hawaiian luau, hiking Diamond Head, poolside meals and meetings, surfing, paddleboarding, day trips, a photo shoot, and creating memories together to last a lifetime.

Rachel attributes the retreat’s overall success to a culture fit between the two organizations. “We really could tell that everyone at Fox loves what they do and cares about the customer. It’s the same culture we strive for at Bright Orthodontics,” says Rachel. “We are so happy with our decision to work with the Fox team to plan our corporate retreat.”
