Day 1 Arrive Albuquerque, New Mexico

Arrive in Albuquerque, where you are met by your guide and chauffeured to Taos, stopping en route for a private tour of the Poeh Museum, viewing works by top contemporary Pueblo artists. Continue to Taos, breaking for a hike as well as photo opportunities at scenic spots along the way. On arrival, check in to your hotel to enjoy your evening at leisure.

Day 2 Taos

Walk the historic downtown district of Taos with your guide, exploring world-class museums, eclectic galleries and chic boutiques. Meet with local artists, leatherworkers and jewelers in their shops who discuss their works with you. Next, visit the Taos Pueblo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been continuously inhabited for 1,000 years. Wander through this adobe village, where centuries-old pottery fragments still litter the ground, and gain an understanding of its place in American history.

Day 3 Santa Fe

Today, travel with your guide through the magnificent mountains to Santa Fe. First, just as you leave the Taos area, visit Ranchos de Taos San Francisco de Asis church — a famous subject of both Ansel Adams’ photographs and Georgia O’Keeffe’s paintings. Then, continue to Santa Fe, visiting meaningful historic sites en route, including stops at several Spanish Colonial villages to browse their shops, galleries and studios. The town of Chimayo, a center for woodcarving and masterful, award-winning weavings, also awaits, as does the 19th-century Santuario de Chimayo, a pilgrimage site, known as the “Lourdes of the Southwest” — that attracts thousands of believers every year. Upon arrival, check in to your luxurious resort getaway.
