Day 3 London

After breakfast, you're ready for a full day exploring this amazing city founded two thousand years ago by the Romans, now the hub of a world-wide commercial empire. Try one of our optional day tours or excursions.

London Add-ons and Optional Tours: Tower of London: Tower of London was built by William the Conqueror in the late 11th century and nothing quite like it had been seen in England before. The White Tower was completed first and dominated the skyline, serving as a fortress-stronghold right up until the 19th century. Today, the Tower is a World Heritage Site, comprised of several buildings that are set in two concentric rings of defensive walls and a moat.

Jack the Ripper Walking Tour: Walk the trail left in 1888 by Jack the Ripper, the famous serial killer who made Whitechapel his hunting grounds. His reign of terror is one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in the world and still draws the attention and curiosity of sleuths everywhere. The tour begins at Trader's Gate, then continues to Mitre Square, the infamous spot where Jack claimed two victims at once. You'll move on to Goulston Street, the location of arguably the best clue to solving the Jack the Ripper case. Finally, you'll end at Hanbury Street, where Anne Chapman's body was found. Follow in the footsteps of police, detectives and the killer himself on this unforgettable tour.
