A treetop bridge in Washington to help squirrels cross the street: The Nutty Narrows Bridge was made in the early 1960’s to help squirrels cross a busy street in Longview, Washington. A man named Amos Peters decided to protect the squirrels after seeing many squished on their way to collect nuts. The Nutty Narrows Bridge now has the titles of the “World’s Narrowest Bridge” and also the “World’s Narrowest Animal Crossing”. Not only that but it is now officially listed as one of Washington’s historic places and two more have been added to keep the squirrels safe. If you’re ever in Washington, don’t forget to visit this small but historic site!

The Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium in Omaha, Nebraska has over 17,000 animals of 962 species. Not only that but according to southfloridareporter.com, it features the largest cat complex in North America, the world’s largest indoor swamp, the world’s largest indoor desert, and the largest geodesic dome in the world. If you’re driving through Nebraska, it might be worth it to make a pit stop at the Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium.
Disney World is the most visited theme park in the US: According to USA Today, more than 157 million people visited a Disney theme park somewhere in the world last year. So it’s no surprise that the top 3 theme parks in the United States are all Disney parks; Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. With classic attractions, enchanting fireworks, musical parades and exciting entertainment, there is a reason why they call it the most magical place on earth!
