Vacation Travel ASSOCIATE Training Program

Get paid to learn while you engage and grow a new career.

Fox World Travel’s vacation travel associate paid training program provides the education needed to step into an exciting role as a Fox vacation travel advisor – in just eight weeks. Train in person, and after successfully completing the training program, work in one of our physical branch locations in Wisconsin. The training program builds a foundation for long-term vacation travel career development. Those selected for this career track will be hired as regular, full-time, paid associates from the start of training.

Approximately 8 weeks of training conducted onsite between our corporate office located in Oshkosh, WI and the associate’s assigned physical branch location.

A Day In The Life Of The Vacation Travel Advisor:

  • Provide custom consultation for vacation reservations.

  • Meet client needs, build value in their reservation through suggestions and recommendations.

  • Respond to client travel requests for reservations including airline, hotel, car, cruise, and tour through active listening, curated recommendations based on your expertise.

  • Actively plan and sell leisure travel services including accommodations and insurance to help clients make the best travel decisions.

  • Learn about Fox World Travel’s preferred suppliers deeply to ensure quality vacations for clients based on their specific needs.

  • Remain informed of all airline rules and regulations; rail services; vendor loyalty programs; security, DOT and documentation requirements; current affairs. Communicate information to clients accurately, appropriately and professionally.

  • Maintain client profiles utilizing our database, ensuring special requests and reward program information are included.

  • Develop a strong knowledge of destination geography.

  • Effectively multi-tasking while managing time and pressure and maintaining a professional rapport with clients.
