Meet Audra Mead, a passionate and visionary leader who, as Fox World Travel’s Chief Culture Officer, heads a team of culture-focused professionals with expertise in associate experience and engagement, talent acquisition, talent development, benefits administration, performance management, compensation strategies, and associate health and well-being.

With a focus on coaching, leadership, and unwavering passion for creating positive change, Audra’s journey at Fox began in 2014 when she joined to bolster the company’s culture and elevate the associate experience and engagement to new heights.  With over 30 years of experience dedicated to nurturing internal culture and investing in leadership, Audra has become an invaluable asset to Fox’s foundation.  Under her leadership, Fox was honored with WINiT’s prestigious Award for Creating a Company Culture for Women to Advance and Succeed, a testament to her and the company’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and empowering work environment.

Audra’s role goes beyond typical leadership responsibilities; she serves as the internal coach for all Senior and Executive leaders within Fox.  By walking alongside these leaders on their journey to becoming their best selves, she partners with them to maximize their potential and cultivates a culture of continuous growth and development.  Fueling her passion for investing in others, Audra frequently shares her insights as a public speaker at national conferences.

“I have a passion in serving and partnering with others to lead with heart and vulnerability, which allows them to connect authentically, engage effectively, and thrive collectively,” states Audra.  “I firmly believe in bringing one’s whole, authentic self to every interaction, emphasizing the value of mindful, invested conversations over mere communication.”

Throughout her career, Audra has fearlessly challenged the norm, unafraid of doing things differently when it serves the right purpose.  Her drive to serve others and create a sense of community permeates every situation she encounters.  Audra is a curious and life-long learner who takes on the role of purposeful teacher and mentor, using her thought-provoking questions to inspire big-picture thinking.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Audra’s connection with nature is evident as she spends her free time connecting with the earth and nature in a multitude of ways:  kayaking, gardening, “ranching”, and indulging in rockhounding (yes, that’s a real thing!).  With a self-proclaimed DIY spirit, she fearlessly tackles new challenges, believing she can accomplish anything with enough research and determination.
