Delta Air Lines Unveils Corporate Travel Enhancements

Delta has introduced three innovations to provide more value to corporate partners.

  1. Unused Ticket Transfer Program: This will enable corporate customers to transfer eligible unused tickets directly to a company’s corporate spending account, enhancing flexibility and control of funds.
  2. Data & Reporting Snapshot: This will deliver customized, rotating metrics directly to corporate customers’ inboxes, providing relevant information.
  3. Corporate Solutions Team—Once offered only to travel agents, Delta will now offer direct 24/7 support to corporate travel managers for urgent and escalated issues.

These initiatives are designed to enhance the overall experience for Delta corporate customers.

Are You Real ID Ready?

As of May 7, 2025, US travelers must be REAL ID compliant to board domestic flights and access certain federal facilities. Please click the link below for information on what documents are needed and how to apply for a Real ID. Please be aware that you can get your Real ID at your local DMV when your current driver’s license expires or earlier if you fly after May 7,20025. Please note that a valid US Passport is an acceptable form of identification and may be used instead of a REAL ID Driver’s License to board domestic flights.

Southwest Airlines Makes Changes to Reward Its Most Loyal Customers

Southwest has announced the following initiatives to reward existing business customers.

  1. Southwest will continue to offer two free checked bags to Rapid Rewards A-list Preferred.

Members and customers traveling on Business Select fares, and one free checked bag to A-List members and other select customers. Customers not qualifying for these free bag options will be charged for their first and second bags. Charges will apply to flights booked on/after May 28, 2025.

  1. Adjustment to how Rapid Rewards points are earned. Customers will earn more points on Business Select fares while less on Wanna Get Away and Wanna Get Away Plus fares. The program will also offer variable redemption rates across higher-demand and lower-demand flights.
  2. Southwest will introduce a new Basic fare on their lowest-priced tickets purchased on/after

May 28, 2025.

  1. Flight credits issued for tickets purchased on/after May 28, 2025, will expire one year or earlier from the ticketing date, depending on the fare type purchased.

American Airlines Announces New Routes for Upcoming Winter Season

American Airlines will make a winter getaway much easier by announcing new routes to Cancun, Mexico, and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The Airline will also expand service on routes to Hawaii, South America, and Europe. During the winter season, American Airlines will offer more than 270 peak daily destinations across Mexico, the Caribbean, and Latin America—more than any other airline.

FAA Approves First United Airlines Starlink Equipped Aircraft Flight

UA’s first flight with Starlink will be on a United Express Embraer 175 aircraft. Starlink will greatly increase the aircraft’s technology, including Wi-Fi, giving customers a best-in-class inflight experience.  Starlink will be rolled out to more than 300 United aircraft by the end of 2025.

As Southwest continues changing its operating model, Delta offers a frequent flyer status match to disaffected Southwest travelers. The offer is available at www.Delta.com and allows Southwest Rapid Rewards A-List and A-List Preferred members to earn a higher status tier with Delta SkyMiles. This offer will remain in effect until September 30, 2025.
