United Airlines Expands Chicago O’Hare (ORD) Hub to 750 Daily Flights
United Airlines is significantly increasing its operations at Chicago O’Hare International Airport, projecting 750 daily flights by Summer 2026. This expansion includes nonstop service to 222 destinations, featuring 47 international routes and 175 U.S. cities.
United also led major carriers in on-time arrivals at ORD in 2025. Travelers will benefit from upgraded airport experiences including five United Club locations and a refreshed Polaris Lounge.
To support this growth, United expects to hire 2,500 additional employees in Chicago by the end of the year.

Delta Air Lines Expands Widebody Fleet for Global Growth
Delta is continuing its international expansion with major aircraft investments. Following the order of 70 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, the airline is adding 31 additional next-generation Airbus widebody aircraft.
These additions will bring Delta’s fleets to:
- 55 A330-900 aircraft
- 79 A350 aircraft
