A Mid-Year Look at Travel, Innovation, and What’s Ahead: Navigating it All Together

It’s safe to say 2026 has been a bit of a whirlwind—especially in the travel industry. Between global uncertainty, changes impacting TSA operations, weather disruptions, and shifting economic conditions, it feels like we’ve all been navigating a lot of moving pieces.

As we head into the latter part of the year, we just want to say thank you. We truly appreciate your continued partnership, flexibility, and trust as we work through these ups and downs together.

Across Fox, our teams—from frontline support to operations to strategic account management—remain focused on one thing: you. Even with all the changes happening around us, our commitment hasn’t wavered. We’re continuing to advocate for your programs, negotiate strong supplier agreements, enhance hotel sourcing, invest in our technology, and grow our teams and experience to better support you.

Over the past six months, we’ve also been busy rolling out new enhancements and solutions designed to meet your evolving needs. We know every travel program is a little different, so not everything below may apply to your organization—but we wanted to share a quick snapshot of what we’ve been working on behind the scenes to support you.

What We’ve Been Working On

Here are a few highlights:

Smarter Hotel Savings with AI

We’ve partnered with Oversee to introduce an AI-powered hotel rate re-shopping tool, replacing our previous Fox rate shopper. This helps us uncover better savings opportunities, improve reporting, and ensure you’re getting the most competitive preferred rates.

Improved Invoicing Experience

We’ve made updates to our invoicing, including sending Fox-issued invoices for refunds, cancellations, and voids. These are now easier to track and filter within Fox Connect—making things a bit more straightforward on your end.

Fox Connect Rollout

Most clients are now up and running on Fox Connect, our enhanced travel management portal. We’re continuing to fine-tune custom tools and programming to make sure every organization has a smooth and complete experience. If you have not yet signed up, we invite you to do so today to enhance your available travel management tools!

Custom Tools for Your Programs

For some clients, we’ve rolled out additional Fox Connect modules, including:

  • Group Air Manager
  • Hotel Import Tool
  • Unprofiled Traveler Manager
  • Custom Solutions and Real-Time Reporting

Special Industry Events

Our team is continually networking at local GBTA Chapter events.  We also recently partnered with the University of Nebraska to host a Travel Management Lunch and Learn in Omaha. The event brought together travel buyers, suppliers, and industry peers for a thoughtful panel discussion and valuable networking with others who manage travel programs. It was a great opportunity, and we thank the University of Nebraska for hosting.

Vacation Travel Benefits

Fox World Travel continues to offer its Escape Vacation Club as a growing corporate benefit, giving employees access to travel perks like a $75 refund on qualifying vacations. Organizations can easily enroll by requesting a custom sign-up link from your Client Solutions Manager or Support Team.  You can then promote the program with ready-made materials and access to additional exclusive vacation travel benefits.

Fox World Travel: Incentive Preview Experience in Curacao

Fox’s Meetings and Incentives team hosted its first Incentive Preview Experience in Curaçao, giving customers a firsthand look at the unique, impactful experiences they can offer their teams. The event highlighted how thoughtful design and meaningful connections can motivate and inspire people within organizations.

Coming Soon: Even More Enhancements

We’re excited about what’s ahead, including:

  • Amgine, a new group air management solution that will integrate with our existing tools to create even more efficiency behind the scenes
  • Fox Connect will continue to roll out ongoing enhancements and new management features.
