Your journey begins in Chicago O’Hare, where you will board your overnight flight to Zagreb, Croatia.

Welcome to Zagreb!

At 6 pm, meet your Tour Director and travel companions for a welcome dinner at your hotel.

This morning, get acquainted with Croatia’s capital city when you join your Local Guide for a sightseeing tour that includes sights of the Parliament, Stone Gate the Archbishop’s Palace, and the Cathedral. Enjoy some free time to explore more and try some local specialties for lunch. A scenic drive takes you across the border into Slovenia, to reach the charming, green, capital city Ljubljana.

Castles & Dragons – Follow your Local Guide for a sightseeing tour of Ljubljana’s main landmarks and hear about the influence of the Hapsburg Dynasty. See the medieval castle, the City Hall, St. Nicholas’ Cathedral, and visit the Town Hall’s inner court. The rest of the day is yours, perhaps explore more of the Old Town and indulge in some traditional dishes.

If you’re wondering why there are so many dragons decorating the cobblestone streets of Ljubljana, it’s thanks to the mythological heroes Jason and his Argonauts who stole the Golden Fleece and fled here. Legend has it that the dragon that lived here wasn’t too welcoming. For ages, the dragon of Ljubljana has been the protector and mascot of Ljubljana.

Drive to Postojna for a definite highlight! A visit of the world-famous caves. Your experience comprises an underground train ride and walking tour. Pass through amazing corridors and see impressive limestone formations. Later, reach the seaside resort of Opatija.

Enjoy a free day in Opatija with a walk along the promenade, see the Croatian Walk of Fame and the Maiden with the Seagull statue. Browse the narrow streets of the Old Town, watch the world go by from one of its cafés, or relax on one of the beaches.

Reach the verdant landscape of the Plitvice Lakes National Park, the oldest and largest national park in Croatia. Follow your Local Guide on a walking tour through trails and over bridges, while you admire the natural wonders and learn about the flora and fauna. Later, take a scenic drive along the Adriatic coastline to Zadar.

Start the day with a guided walking tour through the Old Town of Zadar, see the main square and the Sea Organ and The Greeting to the Sun monument. Continue to Trogir, dating back to 400 B.C., for an orientation walk and free time to see the cathedral and Renaissance Čipiko Palace. Later, arrive in the stunning city of Split. This evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant.

Join your Local Guide for a walking tour through the labyrinth of medieval streets located within part of the Old Town better known as the Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. Free time this afternoon and evening to continue exploring this incredible city, browse the stores, sink your teeth into some of the local specialties, or join an optional excursion.

Arrive in Dubrovnik and make the most of a free day; absorb more culture and history, browse the stores, take in the amazing panorama from different viewpoints or join an optional excursion. It isn’t hard to see why the city of Dubrovnik is known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic.” The old town surrounded by its remarkable city walls is protected by UNESCO. Over the centuries this breathtaking city has been an inspiration to many artists. Game of Thrones fans may recognize this formidable setting and the Rector’s Palace as a film location for the epic TV series.

To Summit Up: Soar up the side of Mount Srd on the Dubrovnik Cable Car for stunning views en route to the panoramic summit above. Cast your eyes on the spectacular views along the way to soak in the miles of marvelous vistas above.

Important Information

Initial Deposit: $400.00 per person

Single Supplement: $1174.00 (limited single occupancies allowed)

Fox Professional Fee: Package price includes a $50.00 non-refundable Professional Fee per reservation. Fee will be charged at the time of deposit and will show as an additional payment from Fox World Travel.

Final Payment: No later than May 2, 2027

Requirements: A valid US passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from date of return

Not Included: Any required Visas or eVisas, airline flights on land-only packages, airline imposed baggage & seat fees (if applicable), gratuities unless prepaid (for airport porters, tour guides, drivers, and service staff), specialty experiences or meals (other than those included in the package), travel protection, medical services, or any items of personal nature.

Terms: Minimum number of travelers are required for the tour to operate and send a Fox World Travel tour manager to accompany the group. In the event the minimum number is not reached, the tour will operate with a professional, local guide in the destination. Hotels and daily itinerary are subject to change.

Group Air: A minimum of 10 passengers is needed for the group air. Flights are currently pending. The air-inclusive package includes air that has not yet been assigned, the identity of the carrier, which may include the carrier`s code-share partner, will be assigned and disclosed at a later date. Price includes approximate air taxes and fees. Air package pricing is subject to change until contracted due to the volatility of airfare costs. Checked luggage fees may apply. Frequent Flier miles may not be available to group air travel. Fox World Travel has no control over flight or equipment changes, seat assignments, delays, or cancellations. Airline tickets will be non-refundable once issued. Changes will be subject to a fee plus any fare difference. Additional restrictions may apply. Pricing and flight options from other cities are available upon request.

Insurance: For peace of mind, we recommend purchasing travel protection insurance. Your travel advisor can discuss options with you, including medical expense coverage, pre-existing medical condition exclusion waivers, trip cancellation, trip delay, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage and more. To cover pre-existing conditions, most policies must be purchased within 14 days of making your initial deposit. Travel protection insurance prices are based on your age and the trip cost.

Cancellation Penalties:

From date of deposit to May 2, 2027: Initial deposit of $400.00 per person + Fox Fee + applicable airline fees

May 3 to May 25, 2027: 50% package price cancellation fee + Fox Fee + applicable airline fees

May 26 to June 24, 2027: 75% package price cancellation fee + Fox Fee + applicable airline fees

June 25, 2027 till date of departure: No refunds

Fox World Cancellation Fee of $100.00 per reservation will apply in addition to any Fox Group Vacation or vendor cancellation penalties. Air tickets are non-refundable once ticketed.

Activity Level 2 – Moderate

Designed for travelers who prefer a balanced blend of sightseeing and downtime. Expect days that include up to two–three miles of walking on a mix of paved paths, small hills, cobblestone streets, and occasional uneven ground. There may be one to two days on this tour when walking tours can cover three to four miles over uneven terrain. Travelers should be comfortable standing for up to two hours during guided activities and climbing two flights of stairs, sometimes without handrails. Daily touring may include early departures or longer coach rides.

Mobility Guidance: You are welcome to travel with mobility aids; however, there will be portions of touring that may be more difficult to accommodate, and you may need to navigate short stretches without assistance. Please share your needs with us in advance so we can plan appropriately.

RESPONSIBILITY: We and any sponsoring organizations act only as agent for the suppliers of travel services such as airlines, hotels, car rental companies, tour operators, restaurants, sightseeing companies, entertainment providers, and cruise lines (the “Suppliers”). We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of the Suppliers that cause losses or damages arising from physical or emotional injury, property or other economic damage, consequential damages, or monetary losses, or arising from any other causes beyond our control. We reserve the right to make any changes in the itinerary deemed necessary, and also the right to decline or retain any person as a member of the Trip. If you choose to arrange your own transportation for any portion of the Trip, we are not responsible for any arrangements or associated costs should there be a change in date that requires changes or cancellation to transportation arranged by you. We are not responsible should there be any changes with vacation hosts, tour managers, or entertainment. You grant to FWT and its designated agents the right to acquire and use the audio, photographic, video and other portrayals of your image, likeness, and voice in any medium of any nature whatsoever, including the Internet, for the purpose of trade, advertising, sales, publicity or otherwise, without compensation.

We will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of disabled travelers, but we are not responsible in the event we are unable to do so nor are we responsible for any denial of services by Suppliers. The American with Disabilities Act is only applicable within the United States and facilities for disabled individuals are limited outside its borders. Most transportation services, including a touring motor coach, are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. We regret we cannot provide individual assistance to a vacation participant for walking, dining, getting on and off motor coaches and other vehicles, or other personal needs. A qualified and physically able companion must accompany travelers who need such assistance and must assume full responsibility for their well-being. Motorized scooters are unsuitable for most vacations.

We have no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the Suppliers, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel. For information concerning possible dangers at destinations, we recommend contacting the Travel Warnings Section of the U.S. State Department at (202) 647-5225 or www.travel.state.gov. For medical information, we recommend contacting the Centers for Disease Control at (877) FYI-TRIP or www.cdc.gov/travel. You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination(s), and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s). You hereby release us from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph. You agree that the courts in Winnebago County, Wisconsin will be the exclusive jurisdiction for all claims brought by you or us, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

We work vigilantly with the Suppliers to maintain integrity of the price you were originally quoted and placed on deposit. There may be certain circumstances where your vacation may be subject to a price increase prior to full payment due to a supplier or government issued surcharge. Prices will not increase after you make full payment, except for charges resulting from increases in government-imposed taxes or fees, fuel surcharges, exchange fluctuations or any combinations of these. Fox World Travel will make a reasonable attempt to contact you prior to issuing charges.
