The Hottest Fall Travel Trends
As we sail into summer, it is never too early to start thinking about a fall vacation. Before we know it, kids will be heading back to school, leaves will begin to change color and we may just have vacation days waiting to be used up by December 31st. If we learned anything from 2020, it’s that we can’t predict the future but what we can see are certain fall travel trends starting to surface. Whether you like to follow the crowd or blaze your own path, knowing the below trends will allow you to get ahead in your fall vacation planning.
Being Your Best Self in Nature
After more than a year of being cooped up in the house (for the most part), our bodies, minds and souls are ready to get out and spend some quality time with Mother Nature. We are seeing national parks, outdoor wellness retreats and extended beachfront stays all around the world becoming more and more popular. Wherever you choose to ground yourself, Mother Nature is waiting for you with her arms open.
Bucket List Destinations
Life is short and our bucket lists keep getting longer. We are noticing that our travelers no longer want to wait to take that “polar plunge” to Antarctica or spend an ENTIRE month backpacking around Europe – there is no better time than right now. It is a tale as old as time… When demand goes up, unfortunately prices tend to follow suit, not to mention space is filling up just as quickly. So if you have been on the fence about booking your dream vacation, do not wait to reserve your spot!
“Workation”
You read that right, a cross between work and vacation. Sounds like a dream doesn’t it? Working hard with the ocean right in front of you – views for days! While we continue to prove that we can truly work from anywhere, it has become one of the hottest trends we are seeing. With most resorts now offering WiFi throughout their grounds, more and more people are bringing their trusty laptop with them to take care of business by day and relax and let loose at the beach by night. Who says you can’t have the best of both worlds?
Flexibility, Support and Security
If we have learned anything over the past year, it is to make sure you are prepared for anything that life might throw your way. You have taken the time to plan and book your trip but have you asked yourself, “what’s the plan?” if or when something arises? Adding travel insurance to any vacation helps put your mind at ease so you can focus on what really matters – enjoying your trip!
